Uncas Health District is responsible for regulating all food service activities that are temporary in nature. This includes fairs, festivals, fund-raising/social meals, or any other temporary event at which food is sold or given to the public.
If you are interested in providing food at a temporary event, you should contact a District Sanitarian to obtain guidance on how to keep, prepare and serve the food in a safe manner.
